Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers to the most common questions about how our platform works, who carries out the repairs, what things cost, and what to expect from start to finish.

Every lock has a label plate — identifying it correctly means getting the right replacement part first time

Common replacement parts — each one identifiable and each one cheaper than a new door
Almost every sliding and patio door fault is a component-level issue. The door frame is usually fine — it is the roller, the gearbox, the seal, or the glass unit that has failed. Replacing that one component restores full function at a fraction of the cost of a new door.
Our specialists carry common parts on their van so that many repairs can be completed in a single visit. For less common or brand-specific parts, the specialist will identify the correct component during the assessment and return to fit it — usually within a few days. At no point will you be pressured into replacing more than what genuinely needs doing.
